because it's not the best time to shop, you head for the tower.
everyone in the streets is yelling, but not really "run for your life" screaming, more likely as if they were shouting commands to protect the town.
as you get to the tower, a guard stops you.

he tells you, you cannot proceed further. you can see why, as there's burning debris behind him, falling from the tower.
