However, I would never want to go back to that.

The way people discribe V7-9, it actually sounds way worse than BL of today.  No JVS, cars, weapons, events, music or other fancy addons. An old engine that didn't support as many bricks as the one we've got now. No physics.

I don't know about how the community was back then, but I'd choose V20 over V8 any day, anyways.

Its not because it was better, it is because it was a long time ago and for a large group of people was the earliest and best memories with Blockland. Its a nostalgia trip.

Probably. For many of the oldest members, this game was a part of their childhood. People tend to remember only the good stuff from when they were young.

I remember how warm and welcoming the community was at the time.
everyone was just so damned nice. Even badspot was.
There was only original servers.
I mean it was a gerat time :)

Anybody else remember that pretty much no servers had JVS because it didn't work with TDM unless you changed 1 line. I felt so smart when I got my server running both
