Author Topic: My first Blender Model!  (Read 2725 times)

Lightly based off of Fallout's 3 rocket launcher.

Why are you using the old, fugly version of Blender?

So I can export to dts files.

Let's see a rendered photo!

Ugh. Use blender 2.62. Lunar will soon post a tutorial how to get the animations from 2.6x to 2.49. You can just open a .blend done with the new blender in the old blender and everything except anims will be there. So don't use the crappy old one and wait a week for the tutorial...

EDIT: Ugh, forgot the most important part. Btw, doesnt it miss a nice handle? Also i cant see a trigger but still the model looks cool :cookie:
This cant be yor first model in blender. Its too good.

You may also realize that 2.6 does not export to .dts properly, which is why it is wise to model in 2.6 and export with 2.49  :cookie:

forget all the other asses that don't even comment on the model. Anyways, its really good!

EDIT: Not addressing the people who did, dur.

2.6x cant export to .dts, I know. Thats why i need Lunars tutorial, I know how to animate in blender 2.6 but it hate the old one. So he found a method to do all in 2.6, import that somehow in the old blender and just click 'export'.

Very good for a first. If you want to make more they should generally be shorter and have more of a bulky look.

Fine, its the second.

It's really really long

Also, to make DOF pictures less blurry, pretend you still have a crosshair in the middle of your screen and try to center your target, although, just plain ol' screenshots would have worked out alright though
