Another video trying to compare games that shouldn't and in this case one of the most thumbed up comments is saying things like minecraft has better building when you can can build the exact same thing in Blockland and probably make it better ect. ect. even though he says he hasn't played it long at all. He also says that minecraft has better character customization than blockland as well.

My best bet is that he just played the demo, didn't buy the full game so he couldn't play with people, and played without getting any add-ons

I can see why people don't like Blockland's building, it's difficult to go from Roblox to Blockland. I had trouble at first but I got the hang of it eventually.  Just because it's more difficult doesn't mean it's limited though. Also just because Roblox has more character customization options doesn't mean they're good. The mesh limbs look goddamned handicapped and most of the clothes are god awful.

Roblox has always felt broken to me though. The game was laggy and most of the Places weren't fun. Before I quit all I saw were "build a stuff house and survive the x"

Blockland has building that's a bit difficult to get used to, but is the efficient out of the three. It's also the cheapest out of the three, only costing $19.95, and you will get your money's worth.
Minecraft has a rather shoddy building system, and it's quite easy to misplace blocks in minecraft. HOWEVER, building is not minecraft's key element. The key is crafting and exploration/survival.
Roblox is fun, and you can do some really cool stuff in there. It also has a "freenium" model, where it's free to play, but you can pay for extra features. It has pretty good building, and one of the key features is being able to do, well, anything. LUA can take a while to get used to, but you can acheive quite impressive results.
Now stop saying that one is better than the other. If you want a survival RPG with building and crafting elements, get minecraft. If you want a free building game with semi-good physics, get roblox. If you want a game where you can build, get blockland.
