A:   At 14 or 15, Publix policy - which is stricter than federal and state laws - allows you to work the following hours:

During a week in which there is at least one school day, 13 hours per week, but no more than 2.5 hours a day Sunday through Friday and no more than 7 hours on Saturday. Work hours must not begin before 3 p.m. Monday through Friday and 7:30 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Work hours must not extend beyond 6:30 p.m. on any day.
During a non-school week, 35 hours per week, but no more than 7 hours in one day. Work hours must not begin before 7:30 a.m. and rarely extend beyond 6:30 p.m. on any day.
