Where is V21?

Guys.  Remember how long it took for v20 to come?

I don't think that has anything to do with this, v20 took some time being released, but that doesn't really mean that v21 (or 'launcher revision') will take around that same amount of time

1) The development thread was recently and suddenly locked
2) This is (retail) Blockland's 5th anniversary
3) The preview screenshots were looking good
it is suspected that the shaders and shadows update will come today.

It hasn't yet, but komp and badspot both appear to be sleeping, having last been online at 2 and 4 in the morning, respectively.

that's based on a comment someone else made about how each new screenshot looked a little more advanced than the last so it's pretty much ready to go or something
it might be complete hooey but it's a possible reason
