Im just wondering becuase when I left I had 4,991 posts then when I got back it was down to 4,990.

If the topic you posted in is ever deleted by a Admin, you will lose post count.

kompressor deletes posts in his threads.
Posts in the Fail Bin do not count towards your overall post count.
Some users have their posts deleted when they are banned. See: Beekay

It was because the "what is a troll" topic was deleted.
