Author Topic: generic v21 complaint  (Read 2537 times)

I personally don't want to see Blockland lose interior. There's only so much you can do with non-interior. I mean, look at the maps we are losing.

-Slopes
-Kitchen
-Bedroom
-GSF
-Tutorial
-RTB Islands
-Paradise

What we keep:
-Slate

What we get:
-Some better graphics.

I think we at LEAST need to keep terrains. Interiors can go, but don't take the terrains. I'm not looking forward to playing on Slate all the time. I have enough card to support it, but preferably, I don't want to play on a blank slate.

Everything you're asking for.

cool story bro.
say it again

yeah, i love terrain and interior maps. i wouldn't mind if interiors would go but terrain would stay, i had great memories

i don't want blockland to change :(

And another thread about v21 from a idiotic OP.

*Graphics card.
You can't just take a random 5 year old PC and shove a 580 in it and have a gaming PC, it'll just get bottlenecked by all the other likely equally old parts.
And that's assuming the card will even work (not having a PCIe slot, weak power supply, etc)

You know, without interiors and terrains they will be able to update lot's of more stuff in the future after shadows and shaders, something like way better physics, they are planning this too

What about physics?
Vehicles and bricks?
Not having to deal with interiors + terrains makes it a lot easier to make brick and vehicle physics really good.

I think buildable vehicles, or dynamic features on vehicles would be a good trade off. And I think it would be worth keeping 1 terrain map, such as Slopes. Skiing is a popular thing in Blockland.

what's the point of vehicles if you have nothing to drive them on?

You guys don't understand that they're not getting rid of the maps because they don't like them.
Maps won't be compatible with shadows. Stop asking ' can they keep this or that at least?' it's either all of them stay, and no shadows, or they go, and we get shadows.

you build stuff to drive them on, genius.
