Anyway, according to my buddy, it isn't that bad. You get smoked a lot in basic, but once your into APT or whatever it gets a lot easier. My buddy just got shipped to Jordan and he said it's pretty much like a vacation there, he just sits around and plays SWTOR all day. I guess it also depends on your division too, but whatever.

I'll be at Lackland AFB for basic. After than, it depends on which job I get. I'm in the electronics field and I'll pick my job in the second week of basic. It could be anything from operation drones to monitoring satellites or working on avionics systems in fighter jets.
