This mini island is a piece of terrain of a moutain and the sea and 2 lakes. This took me 20 mins in my spare time in the server.

Not bad.
Looks like a water-volcano from the top. :3

You should build another one with a couple other hills and make a river running into a valley or something.

He's right. An island is surrounded by water on all sides.

Anyways, it's pretty good, I like the coloring of the mountain. You need to add some small villages near the lakes. Also some trees.

Why are the baseplates uneven...? And you used two 16x32s instead of a 32x32?
