What.
Previously, you could fly all across the world in Flight Simulator. The game came with around 20 planes for the price of any other game.
Microsoft Flight limits you to a few locations, and makes you pay $15 for each plane if you want more than three basic ones.
I would be okay with this if they actually improved the simulation or gameplay, but it doesn't seem like they did. I can't say for sure because I haven't played yet, but from the trailer the graphics don't look much different from Flight Simulator X. The planes may be a little more detailed, but the scenery doesn't look any better. They just watered down the gameplay so they could reach a larger audience.
This game is a step back from previous flight simulators. They just watered it down and made it free so they could make money selling DLC.
