Author Topic: A rather bizarre search trend for "blockland" in Google  (Read 3589 times)

Please don't tell me I'm the only one seeing this.

What on earth is that enormous spike in the beginning of 2005 and why is it far more popular in Finland and in Finnish than other regions and languages? It also appears that there is a very, very active blocklander in Bremen, Germany. I find this very odd.

Edit: Okay what the forget. "4chan" is also the most popular in Finland, our capital AND in Finnish?! http://www.google.com/trends/?q=4chan&ctab=0&geo=all&date=all

Facepunch is also most popular in Finland/Finnish

Blockland aired on The Screen Savers on February 11th, 2005 so there you go. Also, I was one of those searches.

blockland is the only game that has ever gotten me to click on a banner add.

Must be some Finnish starfishs who flood out Google Trends. I put in Cry of Fear, and only Sweden surpasses them (Since, of course, Sweden is the source of it).
