Author Topic: Blockland Glitch with Bricks  (Read 2396 times)

Found a weird glitch. This may be mac only, so bare with me.

If you plant a brick, (enter for me) while undoing it (ctrl Z for me), you can make the GUI go crazy. I would give you a photo of this, but heres a side note. This glitch APPEARS to cause lasting damage to Blockland. I can't manage to launch it after this glitch occurs.

Just thought I would publish this, incase it wasn't known. Also, any idea of a fix for this?

Re-install blockland.

should fix it.

This is more of a glitch report then a help article.

This should probably have gone in Help.

I've never heard of or seen anything like this. All that happens for me is that the break blicks the moment I place it. Could you describe it a bit better?

What I do is I plant a ghost brick, press return at the same time as deleting the brick using undo. After doing so, all of the gui features appear to vanish. My crosshair turns into a white square, my shadow becomes a giant fat black thing, eveyrtihng in the map becomes white and black, structures (map, not built) become invisible.

Sigh. I'll see if I can get blockland running

I got some new news. It turns out this is a RENDERING error. If you unfullscreen/refullscreen twice really fast it happens (using the keybind). Anyway, I got some pictures

Oh wow.

Seems to me that you are intentionally trying to get these types of things to happen.

This has happened to me a lot before, I just haven't ever found out what was causing it. Now that I know, I'm purposely replicating it now to gather information about the cause.

Replicate it, and post your console log. If you don't know where that is it should be in Documents\Blockland\console.txt

There may be a chance you will also need to add "-trace" (without quotes) to the thing.
