V20 No dedicated.bat

How do I host a dedicated serer now?
I have no dedicated.bat in my game files.

Create a shortcut for blockland
Right click it
Add -dedicated -map bedroom
it
(not on my pc right now so i cant explain it good)

1. Go to desktop.
2. Right click, scroll over new, then click shortcut.
Now type into the box EXACTLY the following. You can change the bedroom map to whatever map you want.
For Windows 7/ Vista,
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Blockland\BlocklandLauncher.exe" -dedicated -map bedroom
For Windows XP,
"C:\Program Files\Blockland\BlocklandLauncher.exe" -dedicated -map bedroom

Download Blockland from the Blockland site (You already have Blockland for sure)

Check the button for 'Blockland Dedicated Server'.

Done.

But you has to reinstall.. I'm a lazy ass, I would rather do a few clicks and be done rather than a bunch of clicks and typing and waiting.

I have the best way :3

Step 1: Open Notepad
Step 2: Paste this code in.

Code: [Select]

start BlocklandLauncher.exe -dedicated -map bedroom
pause
Step 3: Save as dedicated.bat in your C:\Program Files (x86)\Blockland (Make sure you change the "Save as type" to all files)
Step 4: Double click on that file.
Step 5: Enjoy.

I think we need a more advanced dedicated server gui.. Set map, load save console, easier chatting, etc
