Author Topic: how do i lucidly dream  (Read 9331 times)

I've only done it once. I woke up in the morning extremely tired then went back to sleep, I knew I was asleep though was so tired I was aware.

That isnt the best method.

i lucidly dream every night but there are times I can't contol the dream
sometimes i dream of some guy named kaleb having me chained in a basement
i don't even know anyone named kaleb and it's not one of those wet bsdm dreams
it's torture
this could be a premonition....i have these on occasion a few seconds before an event occurs, but i usually pass it off as a coincidence.

it's not one of those wet bsdm dreams

You have to go through an incredibly scary experience called "Sleep paralysis"

Don't do it :c
Yeah, the first dozen times or until you get into a pattern where someone or something says or does some specific thing
It could be even the slightest thing out-of-the-ordinary, but you'll know when you're in one or not.
Also, get into the habit of doing reality checks (i.e. writing something on a paper or looking at a clock, then looking away and back again, if it changes you're dreaming,) it's really helpful in determining if you're dreaming or not.

If your going to attempt to lucid dream, You might as well just go to sleep normally and have a nightmare.

Just go to sleep and set an alarm for like 4 hours after you sleep. Then wake up and go back to bed.

I had a lucid dream once.
My mind, however, decided to take the opportunity to make me dream about spiders and webs and mutation. Naturally, I was horrified. Now, I see much scarier things, but I was about eight at the time. It was terrifying, really. I mean, back at that age, if I so much as saw a spider, I would freak the stuff out. Those eyes, and the loving mouth and the legs.
Oh god the legs

Real name should be: Paralysis in a dreamworld of nightmares.

There is a 75% chance you don't know what lucid dreams are.

You just crossed over into the.... Twilight Zone.

Apparently your brain uses the scariest thing possible in your memory and uses it whenever it doesn't know what to do
so
like
your brain
is a boggart
who hates you?
