The planet Weilinene is home to the Weilinecians, a vicious canine race with red eyes and yellow, glowing fur.
Once every six years, the Weilinecians come to the landmark known for water, called Jineea. It's said by Weilinecian priests that the Weilinecian's god, Aneik, lives in there, and refills Jineea of water every few harvests. The Weilinecians worship Aneik during Moonrise. Aneik is mostly known for his Yukrenan transformations, which resemble the fictional werewolf transformations we're all used to. Others can preform Yukrenan transformations, but those were highly gifted at birth, and Aneik was a legend at it.
The Weilinecians have developed a great hate for humans. It is the year 2469, so human technology is so advanced that NASA has developed space shuttles that can travel outside of the Milky Way. Since Weilinene is so close to the entrance to the Milky Way, the humans can easily gain access to Weilinene. A human space shuttle has managed to reach the planet, and the humans within it smuggled Weilinecian treasures and slaughtered dozens of people.
The next Moonrise is coming very soon, and the humans plan to nuke the planet Weilinene on the night of the next - or final - Moonrise...
