Well anyways... I'm going to look more into the Sennheisers. Even though I haven't heard of them, they look like they are pretty good. I dunno, my dad and me will talk it over.

I had a Sennheiser something before, they were nice but they got worn after a while so the cover on the sponges kept falling down and thus I left little black stuff all over the flat.

This Christmas I got a set of AKG 512 headphones.  I like it so far as it fits really well on your head, but after a while your ears may hurt from the pressure. But the sound quality is superb, prog-rock songs sound fantastic.

I'm no expert though, hopefully someone who's more knowledgeable will be able to help you.

if you want good advice, hop over to the creativity board and look for people who mix music. chances are most of them are audiophiles and have good quality headphones.
