Your sources are crap. The only ones that even back up any of the points you make are the final two, and even then, you're not saying what hasn't been said.

Read this, then re-evaluate what you're saying. I'm not saying that your wrong, I'm just saying your argument could be stronger. And if you really care about the children involved in this, I encourage you to contact these people and voice your concerns.

You're all about right and I can't say anything new, so:

I'm getting out of this thread before I think about the bastard.

Also,

Firstly I’m not going to argue that stopping child abuse of any kind isn’t the right thing to do. I’m not saying that stopping Joseph Kony isn’t a good thing. But as the saying goes “the road to hell is paved with good intentions”. My aim in this is to give you sufficient reason to stop supporting the STOP KONY movement.
If you don't care to end child abuse, then why do you care to stop Kony?

And again, your sources are crap.

Eh. Not quite, my own research but it's just regurgitating everything everyone else against or skeptic toward the movement is saying.

Longer than 5 minutes.

It's a con, they spent thousands on making their videos and company viral, but what have they spent on helping children in other countries?

I'm definitely sure this is another one of those "30% of the profit goes to help kids!" companies that were made to make money for the staff but try to look good by donating some of it for a good cause.

It's a good intention,  but this is definitely not how it should be done.

I don't know what this stuff's about. But it's loving annoying.
It's everywhere.

I was watching a video from another thread, and I looked through the comments.

People are spamming Kony in it.

Things like these make me believe this is a con, no charity would attention whore in this way.

Are you guys stupid? Do you have any idea what happens to the money we send into warzones? It gets intercepted by the bad guys, and it's abused.

Kony's army of stupid has marched it's way out of parts of Uganda, where this group is currently pumping money into. Schools are being rebuilt, and jobs are returning.

Did any of you scam conspitribals actually watch the video? forget you.

Kony 2012

I don't even know anymore. This sucks.

Not a con, they specifically tell you that they're using most of the money towards raising awareness. The goal is to get people turned on to the problem so that someone can come up with a solution. They don't have one and don't claim to, the money going to help the kids is literally going just to help the kids, not to directly stop Kony.
