I hear something knocking gently against the wall and I stand back.

I look up from my paper work, and turn to alex "What was that?"

"I'll go check it out, wait here," I said, walking out the door and towards the source, gun drawn.

I stand up and grab my gun

With one ranger outside and one not paying attention, I pull out a tiny knife and begin working the cell lock.

I lean around the corner to see a man trying to set up a powder keg. I point my gun at his head. "Hands away from the keg, the fuse, and the matches, buddy."

I finally get the door unlocked and I open it very slowly. I sneak to my pistol that's laying on the ranger's desk. "Hey buddy!" I shoot the man in the foot and make a break for my horse who's just outside hitched to a post. I ride away fast pulling out my rifle in anticipation.

The bullet passes harmless though my boot, the many wonders of wearing shoes that are to big for you. I run after Alex, firing shots as i go.

I aim my rifle back at the ranger and fire shots.

I make it a mile out of town, losing the law a little bit and I turn East towards New Mexico.

"Goddammit..." I kick the dirt

wait guise where are we.
