"Hoohoo, they ain't even following me." I say reloading my rifle and putting it in it's holster. I take out my canteen and examine it, "Damn." I say, "no water. I can probably make it to Vail by tonight if I don't stop..."

* Kochieboy whips his colt out and shoots right into his shooting arm and his leg.

I drop to the ground, but my finger twitched when he fired, and I managed to get a shot off, embedding itself in the shoulder. I cursed as I landed hard on my knee, blood seeping down my leg. "loving hell! I'm down!" I yelled to anybody who was listening. Through the pain, I aimed again, shooting him in the torso before blacking out.

I zip around the corner to help my partner, I see the same guy from the bar with his gun out. I fire the rest of my rounds into the man.

I dump the empty shells then pull Alex around the corner, assessing the wounds. I start to reload.

Keep tending to my wounds. He shot me in the thigh, which means he could've hit a major artery, and the shoulder/hand, which means I won't be on duty for a while.
