Author Topic: Daft Punk - Guy Manuel Helmet Build  (Read 3150 times)

i've really been into making helmets lately, and i've always wanted to do Guy Manuel's helmet from Daft Punk, so i figured it'd be time for me to start, which i finally did a few weeks ago! i wanted to build up a bit of progress before i posted anything, but its still early in the works so i cant say its beautiful, but heres what i have so far:

so like i said, its not too pretty at the moment, but i'll post as i go along... which may take a while because progress is slow for me :S

if you have any questions i'd be glad to answer them!

Didn't you also make a Guy Helmet, too? If so, I would buy a copy of each off of you for like ~250$. Hope it goes well.

no, the paper model is the first step in making a helmet via pepakura, i wouldn't vac form a visor till the mold was very durable. if tried making a visor with that, it'd crush the cardstock
