HELP :(

Thank you so much! Your a great help to the BL forums!

No need for that. Just make the textures read-only. You only need to right click it, select properties and check read-only. Then your done.

And this is the faster and easier way to do it.

I usually just set the files to read-only but I hear Badspot/the launcher dislikes when people do that.

The launcher will think 'aww theyr read-only' and Badspot will mostly ignore it, I think.
If you make them read-only and start the game, nothing happens except you have new textures. The launcher doesnt even try to overwrite them.

Badspot said himself that in some update the game may tell you to forget off when you do that.

I don't get why it's bad.

because it's basicaly breaking things for when it tries to autofix itself

basicaly its NOT breaking things when you change textures. Though you should not forget up stuff and make that read-only...
When you click Blockland.exe it says to start it with launcher. So someone has to find out HOW the launcher starts Blockland and post that

The launcher checks for the latest update on the cloud server for Blockland, then automatically replaces all the files that aren't updated/have been changed. After that it runs the .exe of the real Blockland.

But hoe it runs the exe, why we cant do this. Is it like one of these attributs you can add to a shortcut, like -launchedbylauncheraxcbd1

i'd suggest you don't do it
the reason he put it there is so that you don't forget up your copy of BL
by making things read only, you break the way it fixes itself
