Author Topic: (super late sorry) My dad wouldn't let me buy something with my own money  (Read 1090 times)

I got a Valve %50 off coupon, and I wanted the complete pack. I told my dad about  it like during mid February. I had $200 bucks from 3 years ago by working on our old house so we could sell it. Thing was, like all the coupons, it ended march 1st.

It was feb 29, I told my dad about it, his excused was "You aren't going to play all of them games!! I am not buying you it, it's a waste of your time and money!!"

I don't really wanna buy it for 100 bucks because I have other plans with the money too

Now I am pissed because I could of traded it on tf2 or something :C

When you're young 200-100 dollars seems rich

Then you get a job and realize that it's not really that rich.

>misses the part where I said "percent"
but yeah I have a summer job and I still realize that it's not very rich xD
partly because of the epiphany I had at around age 12
"oh stuff computers cost more than I thought they did"
