Alright guys, so as few of you know, I'll soon be either going to Virginia Tech college for ROTC or entering the United States Military through enlistment.
But I have a few issues that maybe you guys could help me out with.
Do you guys think ROTC is worth it?  Or should I just join through enlistment?
For those of you who don't know, click the link in ROTC to figure more out about it. It stands for Reserve Officers Training Corps
Also,
Do you guys think I should follow in my families footsteps and go Marines,
Or do what my heart tells me, and go Airforce Engineering?

Thanks for reading this,
Please try not to be stupid or ignorant.

Also, if you vote, please post a reason why you chose that, this is a hard choice for me

imo you should run off and join a circus and become a clown; THAT'S where the money is!

And you didn't expect this from the Blockland forums lol?

dude the circus is practically the main branch of the army

its DANGEROUS juggling balls with face paint

it requires years of training......do you think you're up to it?!?

If you want air force engineering it is quite obvious that is what you should do. Going into the military would still follow your family tradition just the marines will make fun of you for being a pansy ass air force. Being called a pansy ass is worth doing what you prefer and increasing your life expectancy though I would say.

Marines don't even get to pick their job they put you in whatever you seem to be best fitted to. Air force you just get to pick a broad field for your career and they pick the specific job. Only army and navy do you get to pick your specific job.

Yes, actually I am, but I can easily get over that.

I did.

Didn't quite understand ALL of that.

Quick little bump c:

Do not enlist. ROTC Airforce.

Yes, The Marines don't give you nearly as many opportunities as the Airforce does. Even more if you're an officer.

Yeah, I don't know, I guess it's a matter of making my father proud, I think I have definately chosen ROTC though
