Also, I think that the downturn of society has been much slower than a single generation could produce. At this point, you could point at any generation and say that they were horrible. However, you would be missing a lot.
I do agree that this generation is worse than its predecessors, but not by much. People being nimrods in order to be accepted is nothing new.
However, I disagree with Iban and CKT. Rockslide's arguments are very solid, where Iban's are okay and CKTs are puerile and held up by insults and empty assertions.
