I've actually been really into this for a few years. I can confirm that Lie to Me is completely accurate.
Also, learning facial expressions, body language, gestures, and speech patterns is both good and bad. It's nice that I can tell fairly well liars and emotions, but it's awful when you realize that your girlfriend cheated on you by looking into her eyes.
