What can I do to have my username changed?

I want my name changed to 12D3. In two days I'm going to have a brand new computer and am going to be playing blockland a lot more. I really want my username changed to match my in game name and I don't want them to be different. I've messaged Badspot but he hasn't done anything, and I'm not sure if Ephialtes can do anything either.  If I can't have my name changed does that mean I just have to buy a new key? Is there no other option?

Some guy had the random numbers removed from the end of his name, I'm sure they'll do it for you.

How an admin sees a profile in SMF 2.0.2 (I'm assuming it looks similar to this in SMF 1.1.15 excluding the color scheme)
By clicking Modify Profile they can change your name, it's just a factor if they want to do it or not.

My name before MrMulch was 2D I realized that 2D is a much better name then MrMulch but since it has been so long that name is now taken. I recall I also used 12D3 as a name and thought it was more unique. I've changing my in-game name because I like 12D3 much better but what I really want is my forum name changed. The forum is where the majority of people will see me and they will be more easily able to recognize me in-game if my name is the same. Who is going to make the connection that Mulch is 12D3 unless having had prior knowledge?
