Author Topic: What's the appeal to MLP?  (Read 10440 times)

Protip: all pony drama has been started on behalf of pony haters.
Protip: the haters and obsessive fans are both at fault equally.

When have the fans alone started multipage drama over something?

Oh stuff my argument exploded.

Because pony haters never singularly sustained a drama thread either.

both (or should I say all?) sides contribute to the drama.

Why do we have to have this thread every month

Are people really that intolerant
its simple
>new kid joins the forums
>new kid sees the amount of pony drama we already have
>new kid thinks its a good idea to ask why we like the show

its like opening the pandoras box of stupidity

all over differing opinions.

ffffffs humanity.

People just like MLP to troll.

So much trolling in such a small space.

Well, honestly, I think most people like MLP because it's well animated, has interesting characters, good voice acting, and honestly is just fun to watch.

Well see there that doesn't work. But if you read up further you see that my argument kind of collapsed into a pile.

You claimed "started on behalf of pony haters". The OP is not a "pony hater" and those images were posted by Bronies.

sounds about right

I didn't say it was the fans alone. I said it's the haters' and the fans' fault.

When a pony hater attacks a pony fan, then it's fan's fault for not ignoring the posts and then attacking the hater back. Which results in a merry-go-round of flaming. The situation can be reversed, though, like a pony fan posting ponies outside of the pony thread and then the person attacks the pony fan.

So both are 50% at fault for attacking each-other.

I'd like to point out that Spec was recently banned for posting pony research, so you can't say the pony fans were the only ones doing it.

In fact Tony has posted the most stuff and he seems to go unnoticed by everyone but the pony fans.

I meant sustained by pony haters. Not literally started by them.

Actually-

The temptation was too strong.

An argument needs at least 2 sides for it to keep going. So both fans and haters are the ones sustaining the fight.
