Author Topic: Sneaking out to a Party  (Read 1295 times)

So, my friend is having a sleepover party at her house this weekend, and i'm grounded. Only problem is that is the only time I can get close to my girlfriend, so someone tell me how to sneak out. I have a 12 y/o sibling, who shares my room.
I planned on them coming to get me tomorrow around 3:00. Someone tell me how to get out of the house.

Do you trust your sibling to keep a secret?
Also make sure your friends know your sneaking out.

Climb outta da window

What'd you get grounded for?

You could not take the angsty teen way out.

I mean really, sneaking out to a party? What is this the Disney channel? Stay put.

Do you have any windows in your room?

What'd you get grounded for?
I got grounded for not telling my dad I was going to a friends house.

Yes, I was planning on leaving that way. I need to bribe my brother, but the people picking me up will show up at my door. Where do I tell them to park to pick me up?

What is this the Disney channel?
Because the Disney channel allows alcohol.

and now you're gonna do it again

Whatever place is closest to the window, and preferably not very noticeable from the rest of the house, if possible.

Show your folks a little respect, which I doubt you have and stay put. This is a suggestion.

>15 year old grounded, sneaking out to go drink alcohol

Found the problem.

My dad grounded me for spring break. Here's the reason.
  • Monday
- I tell my dad i'm going to my friends house.
  • Tuesday
- My friends don't pick me up.
  • Wednesday
- My friends pick me up and my dad says I didn't tell him.

Chances are that you deserved to be grounded. Whatever you did, you need to contemplate why you're being punished in the first place. It may not be fun, but this makes you a better person.

If you sneak out to see your girlfriend and your parents figure it out, they wont trust you anymore. I can tell you from personal experience it sucks to have your parents not able to trust you.

edit: completely missed that

Nevermind then. Your dad is a douche and you should disregard anything he says.

It's obvious he's punishing you to feel superior.

Even if it was a mistake, I would stay put. It's not worth risking getting caught and getting into deeper trouble.
