Banning backpacks creates struggle to get from class to class, and using it as a protection against drugs is about as protective as blocking a path to a location, leaving the other entrance wide open. People can still easily bring drugs and hold them with a bag, whether it being held by one's hands, or to be carried on one's shoulders. You have no idea what you are doing, and your workers should all be fired for getting such terrible ideas.

But... The police can't detain you without sufficient proof/evidence. You can say you don't want to talk. Unless in the US that isn't the law. But if it is the police can't do anything to everyone. SO REALLY. You have the right to bring it to school if you want. Even if the teachers suspect drugs.
