I actually just googled some emo bands and had no idea that Panic! At the Disco, A Day to Remember and Owl City were of that genre.
Add me to the list for emo music then. ;D

You said emo stuff, I automatically thought you were emo, including all the music you put, that's what emo people listen to?

Uh dude no where close

where you even found sources citing that those were "emo bands" is beyond me.

Unless you assumed "emo bands" meant that the people were actually emo instead of the music they produced, you're wrong, and I don't think any of them are legitimately emo.

"Panic! at the Disco is an American rock duo"
"Owl City is an American electronica musical project by Adam Young"
"A Day to Remember is an American rock band"
