EDIT: Found it. Its called bumptop. heres the download guys.

EDITEDIT: Crap. the link did not work. Anybody else able to find it?
It's not bumptop, it's Real Desktop

originally my desktop background was a dud scan of a school times tables book, but by accident I made it even crappier, so I made this BG on Paint.net

depends on what you usually do with your computer.

i switched because i had many many issues with windows 7, i didn't have as much memory to waste like everyone else does, speed issues, etc.

if you play PC games quite a lot, you'd be better off using windows.

however if you're using XP, it might be worth a try.

plus you could always dual-boot between the two.

what do you mean by dual boot?

what do you mean by dual boot?
basically it's where you have two operating systems installed on a single computer, and you can choose which one you want to boot when you're starting the computer

ubuntu has an option to install it alongside windows in the same partition/drive/etc.

just choose that. you can uninstall it whenever you want if i remember correctly.
