is there any way to convert the bricks from rtb to work with retail?

I think it's possible, but I think they are coded differently in Retail, the new bricks have death animations and can become emitters. I think it would be possible, if you manually added the proper code. The LEGO styled bricks were not included in Retail due to copyright issues with LEGO.

in retail the models are used as collision models and not as the brick itself. its the blb that makes the visual side of the bricks.

Yes but it would be hard you'll have to rescript everything (well not everything but mostly everything)

I would think that doing this is close to imposable.

You'd have to turn each face into its UV Co-ords and texture and match it exactly with the ones on the "Real" model. This could get very hard when converting ones like the 8x8 grill, which we need a Bloko version of...

i want thoes quarter circle bricks

It is possible to create a program to makes complex bricks with ease, anyone want to try it? I might try it during the winter if I somehow obtain more experience with opengl and c++. Badspot also said awhile back that he might someday make a program, which I assume is very far from now.

Yeah it would be nice having back some of those bricks in RTB...
