Well it hasn't really bothered me that much, I don't want to rush into seeing a doctor.

Seriously, It can't be safe having a foreign object in your body at all times. Get it removed before it causes a problem.

It's costs about a few hundred dollars just to see a doctor who will say "yeah well you sure do have something pierced into your skin!"

Rubbing alcohol probably wasn't the best decision for sterilizing the needle. The best way to sterilize needles is by burning the tip of the needle for about three seconds. And if you were going to use rubbing alcohol for anything when it comes to injections you would rub it on and around the skin that you will be putting the needle into. You're not necessarily going to get infected though because you had some sense, and you didn't just stick it in (no loveual joke intended).
