A good time to have one would be in my situation because it tends to stay cool in here at times. (window wide open to let the smokey air out, its almost always smokey in here)

Fursuits seem fine to me, if it's just playing dressup like cosplay or trick-or-treating. But fursuit love sounds horrible.
