Author Topic: Blockland Day Cycle Preview - Shaders and all that  (Read 28438 times)

I hope not every map is on a forced day/night cycle.

How annoying would it be to start building in the day and then it turns night and you can handle see what you are building.

You are so funny.

I commonly build in third person and at far away distances where playerlight is unable to help.

Just wondering, will we be able to lock the sun in certain positions? Otherwise I can see a lot of horror/zombie builds ruined because the sun came up.

I'm sure it's optional or at least controllable.

Actually if we are able to get day/night events that would be perfect.

On day ---- kill/disable all zombies

on night  ---- spawn zombies

A bed, to skip nights
While we're at it, we should make cube shaped terrain bricks too.

What are those white lines on the windows of the third build. Reminds me of the minecraft glass.

thats the light reflection on edge of the brick.

and add mobs that come only at night OH and a difficulty setting

i see what you're getting at and stop right there because it makes no sense

some torches and crafting would be cool too!

That's only possible in single player. How can you do that in multiplayer?

if everyone gets in bed during night, it'll skip over.
