Do you suggest getting an amulet while in the process of maxing a character? (Buying it with pots/items) Or doing it the old fashion way and dying with fame?
Amulets are good investments if you have the following
-multiple characters. If you break an amulet on one character, don't play it until you get another, play a different char.
-Maxed life and or vitality. These stats are hard to max and amulets prevent you from needing to drink these over again.
-Have really expensive untiereds. Buying these items is hell. Amulets protect them from being lost

If you think your character is worth more than 115 defense, invest in an amulet.
