Author Topic: [128x128]World of Chaos - locked forever(once again)  (Read 45648 times)

I have found out that there are several problems with this adventure:

-Numerous people have mentioned that they find it hard to follow the storyline
-Many people hate the storyline
-A lot of people find it unoriginal

And lots more. This thread also doesn't get as much attention as, well, every other thread in Community Projects, not matter what I do. If the majority of the general public does not even like to look at this adventure, I no longer have any reason to actually spend time on this because I don't actually have the time for it. So yeah, this is the actual end of World of Chaos. If I ever have time/feel inspiration again I will make another adventure, but for now, nothing.




Storyline:

The world was a perfect world. There hadn't been any wars for the past 1000 years.
The entire world was in peace, and also in pieces. The core of the earth had basically exploded, creating a new floating island world where strange laws of nature were created with the explosion of the core.

The sea was absolutely clean, you could always reach into the fluffy clouds, and there was almost no criminality.
No one had any complaints about this new world.

But then...they came.

Everything was normal on that day until they came.
The Darksides, that's what they call themselves.

A large and sinister group spread over half of the world now bent on world domination.

The world had just entered the Era of Darksides, and every war that had been fought until that time was absolutely nothing compared to the events of that day.

This perfect, new world had changed into what we call...The World of Chaos.

There is still hope. There are probably heroes in this world that have the power to wipe out the entire group.

Not immideatly, but...I'm sure they will.

We're all waiting for the heroes...We all are.




6 classes.
1. Swordsman - Master of swordsmanship.(your weapon can be anything that can cut except for glaives or spears.)
2. Marksman - Master of shooting.(normal guns, laser guns, laser cannons, normal cannons, bows, crossbows, slingshots, litterally anything that has to do with shooting goes in here.)
3. Spearman - Master of spears.(glaives or throwing spears and such things)
4. Magician - Master of magic. Is able to perform alchemy and herbalism.(spellbooks or staves)
5. Mechanic - Master of construction. Has ability to craft items.(you use mechs to fight, sprite your own mech and provide its default power, like shooting, slamming, etc.)
6. Thief - Master of agility. Has the quickest speed, and can turn invisible for a period of time. Has more chance to dodge attacks.(Throwing stars, dagger, claw, whip, those sorts of weapons.)
EXTRA: You can also choose to be a certain class but have no weapons at all, you can still choose to equip weapons later though.


7 races.

Human - Faster than every other race on land. Very slow in water.
Goblin - A bit slower than other classes but has incredible physical strength and defense.
Fishman - Your strength, defense and speed doubles when underwater.
Elf - Great magic strength, weak physical strength, so Magician and Mechanic are probably the best classes to choose.
Cyborg - Human on the outside, robot on the inside. (NOTE: If class is Mechanic, you can upgrade your body into a battle mech instead of summoning it.)
Robot - Cyborg but without human looks. Same traits as cyborg as well.
Undead -  Can only be hurt by special skills and not normal attacks. However, other Undead can attack eachother with normal attacks AND magic attacks.
Animal(thing) - Supernatural animal. Same traits as human. (NOTE: No, you can't be a sonic pony furry cheeta man stuff creature.)

I DIDN'T THINK I'D HAVE TO SAY THIS BECAUSE IT'S LITTERALLY TOO OBVIOUS.



BONUS: You may have a sub-character, like some sort of pet you keep.
Just like Vantas has his familiar, you can have some sort of sub-character like that.

You may also be a villain if you want, you just won't appear as much.

DO NOT MAKE A BLATANT RIPOFF OF AN ALREADY EXISTING CHARACTER/RACE OR YOUR CHARACTER WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE DECLINED. THE SAME GOES IF YOU LITTERALLY ADMIT YOU PUT NO EFFORT INTO YOUR CHARACTER AT ALL.

Color this skin to whatever you want.
But don't enter stuff like a completely blue skin saying you're human.



Battle system:

As long as I'm still pondering what kind of battle system I should use, survival lies in the hands of your survival knowledge. Dodge roll? Good idea when fighting an enemy who's using a rocket launcher, bad idea when fighting an enemy who uses a homing rocket launcher.



CHARACTERS



Name: Geno
Race: Human
Class: Swordsman
Weapon: Gold Katanas
Attacks:
Large Slash - Use one sword and a lot of concentration to perform a large attack that cuts every enemy in the field, but makes you too exhausted to attack for one turn.
Sliding Slash - Makes you dash insanely fast through two enemies, cutting them in the process.
Slicewave - Sends out a sharp wave of energy and wind that can cut through enemies like a sharp scythe.

Skill: Devil Arts - A mysterious power that grants a person special abilities in times of need.

Name: Vardet Vantas
Class: Magician (duh)
Type: Staff
Race: Elf (also duh)
Attacks:
Shot - Fires a shot of energy.
Charged Shot - Fires 5 powerful shots of energy after charging.
Area Blast - Launches a rain of energy and force upon all enemies. You have to recharge your magic for one turn after using this.
Flame Quake - Sends out a wave of fire.
Fire Shot - Fires a shot of fire.
Flare Blast - Area Blast, but then using fire, creating a large explosion in mid-air.

Ability: Familiar: Vantas' right hand, can fly. Can cast spells on his own when not commanded around. Nearly as competent as Vardet himself. Can talk and interact with things on his own, too.
(if familiars not allowed, Magic Grapple: Create a magic hand with a rope attached to the staff and fling it to things it can grab on, kinda like magic JC2)


Name: Masterockets
Class: Thief
Race: Human
Weapon: Golden Chain
HP: 10
MP: 6
ATK: 5
DEF: 6
Attacks: Heavy Whip - Hits enemies with your whip, sometimes hard enough to paralyze them temporarily.
Grapple Pull - Pulls enemies towards you with your whip weapon, or steals their stuff.
Flying Kick - Jump into the air and launch yourself towards the enemy with force to kick them good.
Turbo Shot - Flying Kick...except 50 times more effective. Requires tons of strength...
Ability: Lightweight clothes that allow for higher speed and agility
also knows parkour



Name: Velshyyr Makaar
Race: Fishman
Description:
 - Amphibious freelance bounty hunter. He doesn't speak much, but when he does, it is with a certain finesse (with swordfighting skill to match), despite his somewhat rough appearance. He is not equipped with armor and his hitpoints are not the best, but he makes up for it in dexterity.
Class: Dual/Solo Swordsman
Weapon: the Kaernk; twin-blade sword, detachable into two dual rapiers
Attacks: (slashes), (stabs), (thrusts), Counterattack - (Blade-based attack damage is deflected while in stance; loses stance upon counterattacking), Hyper Cutter - (Think Kirby's Cutter ability. Velshyyr slashes upward into the air, then comes back down, hitting the ground.) Blue Leviathan - Dash through enemies while a Leviathan made of scythe energy is around you, dealing damage to multiple enemies. This attack becomes two times stronger when underwater.
Skill: Absorption
 - Velshyyr will slowly regenerate health while in water. This will not affect wounds, poison, or similar status effects.

Familiar: Ydrakii
Race: Animal (Water Dragon)
Details:
 - Velshyyr's loyal dragon companion. Mounted pouch allows for item storage. Velshyyr can mount Ydrakii to fly; despite Ydrakii's amphibious nature, Velshyyr can swim just fine, and does not need to mount Ydrakii in water. Ydrakii cannot talk, but has enough intelligence to interact with certain objects.


Name: Cynthia Zetra
Class: Marksman
Race: Human
Weapon: Laser Cannon
Attacks:
Wild Laser - Fires a large destructive laser from her cannon.
Double Shot - Fires multiple shots to hit multiple enemies.
Jump Dash - Uses her double jump system to dash and knock an enemy away.
Ability: Is able to use a system built into her suit that allows double jumping.


Name: Zan "Iota" Kogstar fishan
Class: Mechanic
Type: not sure
Race: Cyborg
Attacks: Shot, Whip, Jet Kick/Cannon, Power Kick, Sprint
Ability: Flight, for the same reason he has "Iota" in his name, and for the same reason he has a jet kick attack. Amped up to eleven in his mech self, whereas he can chase low orbiting travel planes.


Name: Zero
Race: Animal: Hedgehog
Class: Marksman
Weapon: Star Gun
Attacks:
Surprise Balloon: Fireworks - Fires an explosive blue balloon towards enemies that unleashes fireworks upon them.
Surprise Balloon: Sparkles - Fires an explosive yellow balloon towards enemies that unleashes stars upon them, sometimes stunning them.
Surprise Balloon: Solid - Fires a red, bouncy and rock hard balloon that strikes enemies very hard.

Skill: Roll Up - Roll up in a ball for one turn to protect yourself from enemy attacks.



Name: Lily
Race: Undead(demon)
Class: Spearman
Weapon: Demon Trident
Attacks:
Stab - Stabs an enemy with her Demon Trident.
Dark Explosion - Fires dark shots.
Heal - Heals herself or a party member.
Skill: Ability to float.

She is a temporary party member and can be summoned. She will not always appear depending on what the circumstances are, though.



Team Attacks:

Four Swords - Geno and Velshyyr - Combine powers to create a Four Sword Style that is even stronger. Both won't be able to attack in the next turn if used.

Trinity Impact - Geno, Vantas and Masterockets - All three jump in the air while Vantas sets Geno's swords on fire. Masterockets kicks Geno towards the target. Geno then starts spinning and creates a flaming spinning impact attack that does an insane amount of damage to all enemies. However, if this is used, All three won't be able to attack in the next two turns. If the battle is finished with this move, the next battle will still have you wait two turns.

Name: Z'olnus
Class: Spearman
Race: Animal
Description:
(Yes, those things on his head are horns.) A skilled hunter, Z'olnus makes a living selling the pelts he manages to get after hunting, and a perk of hunting is that he does not need to buy food.
Weapon: Specially designed spear, has a metal rod in it to prevent snapping, and a heavy ring of timber is added right where the sharp end of the spear begins to form to add extra weight to the front, causing a more painfull impact to the enemy.
Attacks: Spear melee - Simply pokes the enemy with strength using his spear.
       All-in throw - Z'olnus runs at the enemy and throws his spear with as much might he can muster, the extra weight on the end of the spear knocking the enemy back after slightly impaling him. (Knockback does not affect bosses.) Z'olnus cannot attack for 1 turn after using this to retrieve his spear and remuster the strength to attack once more.
Ability: Histscales - In dire situations, Z'olnus shall regenerate health for a short time. This ability cannot be used for two days after activated, and lasts 30 seconds when activated. Z'olnus activates it like he makes his heart beat - He can't actually control it, since his nervous-system controls it.


Name: Falcon Voulge
Race: Goblin
Class: Spearman
Weapon: Steel Halberd (affectionately nicknamed Peregrine)
Attacks:
Swing-Slash - Swings the halberd and cuts it with it's bladed end.
Swipe-Stab -Swings the halberd and strikes with the end opposing the bladed side.
Thrust-Jab - Thrusts the Spear end toward enemy and jabs with it.
Spin-Fury - Holds the halberd at one end and spins himself around in circles and propels himself up in the air helecopter style, dealing damage to all enemies but he remains dizzy for a bit.

He also seems to have a weird obsession with flight.



Just imagine when you're fighting an enemy, and one of you dies.

The creator of the character that dies may make another character that will later on join the group or return as an undead. You cannot return as another undead if you die as an undead.
