Just thought this line was interesting because I saw something on Fox News about this comment this guy who was on welfare made, saying that he didn't want a job. I thought it was interesting because in history class we were learning about the downfall of Rome. And one thing that contributed to the downfall was of people's laziness. A lot of people basically quit their jobs and mainly relied on the bread and circus. Just something I thought of.

Yep

There's a difference between the laziness to where you don't want to get a job and the laziness where you Don't want to learn history though. The phrase should be something like "Don't be a lazy richard". I understand where it comes from though.

In my history class my teacher was a marine so if we don't learn he yells at us. He's won best teacher award 5 times Everyone has a's and b's.

Eh, strong work ethics disappeared with the puritans.

Actually... I said that phrase because I fell like laziness is starting to become one of the factors to the downfall of the U.S. economy, just like the Roman Empire.

Ah.

It is though, a few people set off a Chain Reaction. Group A doesn't want to work, and Group B doesn't want to because Group A isn't working, and it goes on and on.

The whole original post has nothing to do with fox news and presents a totally legitimate idea to discuss.

Aw, well there goes me making a reference :(

I love the nonexistent knowledge of either history or economics in this thread.

But yeah, phrase is correct. As a history major, I live by that rule.

Lucky for you anyone who payed attention in history class will know.  :cookieMonster:

course it's all for naught if you aren't good at history (me) :(
