Well See, Suki would be lost in a forest looking for hog monkey fur and she dies. Out of fear sokka crapped himself and all he had were some cookies. Korra happened to stop by and was hungry. She had some adult diapers on hand, so they made an agreement. Makes perfect sense to me.

This series features a new Avatar, Korra. When the Avatar dies, a new one is born, thus Aang obviously is dead.
The series also takes place about ~70 years after the final episode.

Chances are, we'll see him in the Avatar State at some point or another, old age and whatnot.

I used to watch that show every day with my friend but eventually I stopped watching it. I think the last episode I saw was where they were trying to escape some kind of prison.

I'm not even sure if it was a prison. They were just being held somewhere and were trying to escape.
Most likely had been captured by the fire people. (Yeah...haven't watched this in years. Don't expect me to remember any names...)
