Author Topic: BL Juniors/Seniors looking for colleges?  (Read 1769 times)

I'm a junior now and I'm getting my SAT scores back in a week.  I've began visiting colleges and am going to see 4 or 5 more during Spring Break.  Are any of you guys looking to see where you might want to go?

I'm getting my sat scores in a week as well. I am looking for a good introduction into the medical field. Hopefully, I will find a good nearby university.

I'm probably leaning towards UMBC or JHU in Maryland...

...if anyone cares :|

yeah im prob going to chs middle school next year its pretty nice i hear there basketball team is good

I've visited Villanova and Lehigh, and I'm going to Massachusetts to see BC, BU, Holy Cross, and Northeastern, if any of you want to know anything about them.

Do any of you guys know if being a legacy really does help a lot?

UMBC and JHU are two very different level schools, why are you picking them?

what is it about visiting a college that convinces you its the one you want to go to?

i mean i can imagine a tour showing me any school is the same. while the important things i need to know cant be given to me by walking and looking.

though i ended up doing about 95% of my classes online from home. i never gave a crap about campuses.

My dad has a couple of good friends that are retired Navy. They say if I spend a year in the reserves and get an endorsement from a senator or congressman (He knows a few) I'd have a good chance at getting into the academy.

JHU is likely on account that I have two alumni in the family, one of whom still works there today, and my interest in the medical field.

UMBC is my "Plan Z", aka the "if for some reason I don't know what the forget I'm doing".  I'm still a sophomore, everything is still a bit fuzzy at the moment for me and I have no clue what I'm doing.

Well imo, Lehigh and Nova are completely different campuses.  I know I wouldn't like a place like Nova, because it is really integrated into the town and doesn't feel like college to me, but it's just personal preference.  I loved Lehigh and it has a great reputation and a bunch of great programs.

Well if you are shooting for JHU don't settle for UMBC.  What's your gpa?

I've been accepted to Colorado Mesa University and University of Colorado, Colorado Springs, but I'm deferring for a year because I want to work on other stuff and make some money.

Find a college that doesn't suck ass.

I've been sent stufftons of college letters.

Funny thing is, I'm not even looking. Already decided on ASU. :P

I'm just going to get some credits from pima then be on my marry way.

ASU. :P
