Frogs, some birds, dragonflies and other animals eat mosquitoes as their primary diet. Fish depend on eating the larval form in water. Other animals eat these animals.

Lack of mosquitoes would actually cripple the food chain.

God I hate these little stuffs. Move to fast to hit. It takes me an hour to hit a normal fly with a swatter, let alone a gnat.
