I got a bonsai tree.

i've had 3 little pots of bamboo for some four odd years, and 2 cacti for two

my dad hates bamboo. the house he used to live in as a kid had a garden with bamboo in it. soon enough, the bamboo started taking over and he spent a long time trying to get rid of the stuff. he now views bamboo as an evil plant.

some of the other types are harder to keep, this is supposed to be the easiest type though.
