Help me remember a game i played as a kid

So this game
basically it was a wild west type setting.
and all of the characters were animals or some stuff
you were this guy in a cloak and a hat and you were like a mercenary or something
your main weapon was this crossbow that shot these little furry creatures that would do different things depending on the creature
btw it was on original xbox
