it takes me 20min just to find a good server one that is not family rp i can do that in real life one that is not grapple hook stuff that just depends on how good your ping is and i love freebuilds but all of them have 1 player and no good mods like events.

so please tell me what server do you join so i can find it so i dont have to keep looking.

i like red guys unlimited mining but he reversed all my stats idk why

If you see a server with a peculiar name, try joining it to see what it is.
Such as, if you see my hosting something like Boomerangdog's ARTRPG, try joining it to see what it is. The Blockland community always comes up with new kinds of servers every once in a while.
Also, ARTRPG isn't a real thing, I just used as an example.

We could use a Blacklisting mode, where we can block servers with something specific in their name, like "family" or "fam*"

Truth is, the Blockland community is really lazy. If you want a good server, you'll probably need to be the one to make it.

We've reached the point where the mid generation of 13k players find the servers stuff. About time.

The standard of servers constantly changes. I joined in v8 and my favorite period of servers was during v9 to v10. I think people are influenced by what is there when they join. The bar is set by what you see and you expect it to stay that way forever, but then more people join and different styles of servers come and go.

My view is that servers that are really crap will die. Yes, family RP sucks, but if there are a number of successful family RP servers that get enough traffic for players to host them, then clearly its meeting a demand that people want. There is always an alternative. Or if you really can't find anything good, learn to host.

I think it is half that yes, years ago there were great servers and lots of fun, but on the other hand years ago we were newer and frankly everything seemed fun, the bedroom map with 2 tanks and nothing else was exhilarating at that time so maybe nothing has really changed except we have grown out of that stage of easy entertainment.

Except for loving family rps.

Oh god, every loving server is a role playing server right now.

Any server that is not a role playing server has less than 3 people.
