Here's how it goes:

Budget: $30,000

With this amount of money you need to find a car that is economical, inexpensive and reliable - and especially safe.. You may be as creative as you like, sports cars count, but keep in mind they must be realistic at least.

You cannot list a used car - it must be brand new.

For me, I would look into a 2011 Mini Cooper S. Sporty, economical, great on fuel - and very reliable. Also incredibly safe.

Your turn.

Wha- wait I don't have that money dumbass

It's rhetorical. :D

I desperately need to find something that's less than $15,000.

Asking for 30+mpg, hope that isn't too much to hope for. ;-;

Ohhhh lol.

Anyway, you guys have such big budgets, and then ask for an economical car - over here it's different. We buy cars for around $2000 to $5000 mostly (used, that's about $1000 to $2500 in your money) but they are big engined, fast, very uneconomical cars :P
Like for instance, my car was $2000, but is a big V6 and uses way too much petrol - about $40 a week just getting to and from class 4 days a week. I think them mpg is less than 20. Can't remember what it worked out to be.

Hyundai i40, ix35 or i30.

I thought rhetorical meant you aren't asking anybody to answer the question.
not to be the grammar national socialist or anything

I'd probably get a 2012 Dodge Challenger, that's not very economical though.

The Mini Cooper sounds really good too.
