Xfire was my first messenger ever I believe. I don't think I ever uninstalled it from my old computer. Although moving to this one, I miss the old Xfire skin they stopped supporting. Why they'd just drop the MAIN Xfire skin support and make a new skin is beyond me. I mean, the fact we have the option to use the old skin feels weird.

Anyway, Xfire detects games for you. Steam doesn't. Steam has problems with some people who use 64-Bit Java with their Minecraft (including me).  I mean overall, of course Steam beats out Xfire. But that's because of Steam's base, Valve and all that. Buying games through it. Shouldn't mean Xfire is bad. Just not a big ass thing.

Xfire supported Blockland...until V20.
I don't even have it installed on the computer I'm using.

I prefer Steam.

You mean when the launcher came and changed how it runs. I thought you had to manually add Blockland to it... But I have conflicting memories. I think they did add it... but also manually add... something... Blah. Also, the files were moved. You should inform Xfire that it's now in My Documents.

I don't use xfire anymore because steam is just easier then having 2 programs.

I wish the steam community was managed by the xfire people and the steam store was managed by valve.

its one of those all in one messengers for faceook/aim/msn/google/yahoo/icq/steam (though i use steam on the side instead of steam on raptr)

and it watches your achievements and play hours on games like xfire did, and lets you make them nifty sigs n stuff to.
