Author Topic: Makin' Animated Avatars  (Read 42879 times)

Mr.Nobody drew that one though, I only resized, scanned and animated it.

The little robot was his idea as well.
Omg <3

Thanks Mr.Nobody and Jerkface!

Well, seeing as now I know how you guys do it, I think I will make my own.
I just have to learn to make .gifs, and I think you do it in... Gimp?
Also, are there any like... Tutorials on gimp or something?

If my avatar doesn't change though, please don't forget about me.  ;-;

Sorry, misunderstood.  How does one accomplish making those gifs?

Tutorial for GIMP?

You just... draw.  I dunno, seems easy enough to me.  Besides, I don't animate with GIMP.

Also, The way I do Mr.Nobody's drawings involves using a scanner, and actually drawing each frame.

Hope you not only have a scanner, but patience.  Good luck on your avatars, though.

I think the one Jerkface made for me is perfect!
It's totally worth the wait if you ask me.
I dont think I'll ever change it. Ever. :3

I drew each frame of yours.
Yours is one of my favorites, had the most detail.

Request all you want, they get done when they get done.

If people request an avatar for the 400th time, it'll still be in queue based on when they first asked for one.

Besides, why would I dislike my thread constantly getting bumped?

I want one I guess, nothing too exciting about a camera though.

I put in a request to have an avatar of animation. :iceCream:

You find yourself a very lovey .gif animation program and download it.

Then, when it's opened, you place each frame how you'd like. (The frames, of course, have been drawn and resized using an art program already)

Make sure you time the frames right, the way you'd like, so you won't be in fright fiddlin' with them all night.

So basically using a .gif program is like using pivot stick figure animator with a bit more placing and less using?
Sounds simple enough.  Thanks for the help.
Oh, and do you use any specific
very lovey .gif animation program
