Hello and welcome to Big Brother's Business RP topic. I will detail all of the information regarding my server from how to play to how it works. There is usually around eight people on my server, so it's quite a relaxed environment - although quite competitive. This may be a business RP, but it's focused around the stock market - simplified just enough so normal people can use it and have fun with it on Blockland.

The basic aim of the game is to make as many points as possible. This can be done a variety of ways, but the quickest way is to invest in stock. There is 15 different types of stock that are available for purchase which fluctuate in price. For example BRO, ZAC or CCO. You can buy up to 150 of each stock type and it will cost more if you request more stock. The best way to play is to purchase stock when it's cheap and to sell it when it's high, so you can pocket the difference. If you don't understand this topic - don't worry. There's a brief explanation in-game as well as here.

Even though there are 32 different stock types, they are very different. Different stock have a different risk factor and you can win and lose more out of them. Stock of a high risk such as ACE will cost you a lot of points, they will fluctuate more often and will fluctuate at a greater range. As a result of this, you can also win or lose more points than you put into the stock. This is very different from low risk stock such as BRO which will make you a profit or a loss, but it will not be as diverse and will not affect you as much as ACE.

There are seven different types of risk on this game and each stock has one of them.

(4 Stock) 1. Green - Very Low Risk
(4 Stock) 2. Yellow - Low Risk
(4 Stock) 3. Orange - Mid Risk
(4 Stock) 4. Red - High Risk
(4 Stock) 5. Dark Red - Very High Risk
(4 Stock) 6. Grey - Extremely High Risk
(4 Stock) 7. Black - Deluxe Extremely High Risk
(4 Stock) 8. Dark Black - Deluxe II Extremely High Risk

It is recommended that beginners refrain from purchasing high risk stock.

There is a variety of different buttons that you can click on to help you while you purchase stock, I'll list them here.

Coloured 'R' - This is there to display how well the stock are currently doing. It will display it in a format such as "____: ______". If it is in the negatives, you will become unable to purchase or sell that specific stock.

Blue Exclamation Mark - Buying stuff.
          >Buy [Stock] [Value lower than or equal to 150]

Light Blue Exclamation Mark - Selling stuff.
          >Sell [Stock] [Value lower or equal to how much you currently own]

Three White Question Marks - Try your luck, get between -60 and 85 points. Will only serve you if you have lower or equal to 500 points.

Pink Question Mark - Gives you basic information regarding your statistics for that stock. Type in a stock name and you will receive information about it.

Yellow Dollar Sign - Tells you how much your stock are worth.

Green Dollar Sign - Type a number into regular chat and click this button. It will tell you how much it will cost to buy that amount of stock.

Green Greater-Than Sign - Tells you the best the stock has reached in the day.

Red Less-Than Sign - Tells you the worst the stock has reached in the day.

Dark Green Equal Sign - Tells you all of the stock associated with that line.

Green Period - See a doctor Displays how much you have currently gained from each branch.

You can also save and load respectively by selecting the S or L print buttons which are allocated in front of where you spawn, along with the 'Try Your Luck' button, the , the statistics button and other buttons we don't need to detail just yet.

If you wish to buy an item for 1000 points, select the dollar sign print button on it's own baseplate and type in an item in chat. You cannot purchase Skiis, Wrenches or Rocket Launchers.

If you wish to rank up, type a number from 1-6 in regular chat and select the R print button found on it's own baseplate. If you can afford the price, you will be sent to whatever team you paid for - such as three, four or five for example. The price of the ranks are different depending on each one you purchase.

Rank 1 - Default
Rank 2 - 12290
Rank 3 - 13390
Rank 4 - 14490
Rank 5 - 15590
Rank 6 - 16690

There is also a lottery button behind the rank button, but that's only if you feel like directly gambling away your hard earned savings for 100 points a turn. I've temporarily removed this for no reason. I'll put it back later.

If you wish to purchase a vehicle, you can use the commands [Purchase] and [Sell] directly on the vehicle spawn if you can afford it. Each vehicle costs a different amount and you only rent it - this means you do not own it permanently, just until the server closes for the day. You cannot sell a vehicle for full price - it will be a fraction of what you paid.

But it's not all about stock. You can also develop your own business and provide a service to the people who require it. This means you can sell your building services such as full houses or even furniture. Maybe you can even sell clothing, it doesn't matter as long as it's a good idea and it sells. The way a business works is that there is a donation button in the front of every legitimate establishment. If they require service, they click the brick and they are permitted the product being sold by the owner of the building. The owner of the business is also responsible for the price the products are sold at.

Now it may seem all fun to make your own business. But did you remember tax? That exists too! Infact, there is an algorithm for tax which I will now display for my amusement and your demise:

5*[Employee Count]+(([Stories Squared])*(1+(10-[Building Quality])))+[Baseplate Size from 1 to 5]-[Rank]

This usually ends up around 20 to 100 points and you pay it every two minutes. Not so great now unless you know what you're doing! This also encourages you to actively stay involved with the stock market and to not give up on it.

But it's not just tax. You're going to make a solid income aswell, whether you make a profit from other sources or not - but it does help. There is also an algorithm for that too:

(2*[Employee Count])*[Employee Activity from 1 to 5]+[Tax Pay Activity from 1 to 5]*[Baseplate Size from 1 to 5]*[Building Quality]+[Rank]

Which ends up usually much more than the tax if everybody involved in the business is actively utilizing it.

If you create a business, not to worry. You will only receive tax when you start providing the product to the customers. This means you will not receive a continuous flow of tax until you start making a decent profit! If only that was the real way...

If you also wish to just build a house to live in, you will be required to pay a mortgage and it won't always be the same with everybody. You will pay it in separate payments, so you don't need to surrender your wallet to us, don't worry about that! Enjoy yourself.

Leaderboard
1. Fluffy
2. Pie Crust
3. Rusty

Point Donators - Don't worry, you guys will receive a prize soon!
1. Rusty
2. Tally
3. Crown

Bugs
Medium - Occasional players do not see stock adjustments [I know why this happens, I'll fix it later]

As of the new update which I completed by wasting an entire day working, there is four stock per branch. It's basically the same thing only it looks better, there aren't any bugs and instead of typing things like '>Buy 5', you type '>Buy CCO 5'. This is because the buy and sell bricks are shared between four different stock. And yes, if I didn't mention already, there is now a buy and sell brick. They are individual. As with the new update, I have cleared all excess housing. Please feel free to rebuild anything - I will compensate you for your loss.

Thanks for reading the topic, which you probably didn't. I'll update it whenever I feel like adding some stuff to it.
