Author Topic: New York to ban words from it's school tests: Dinosaur, Birthday... + 42 more  (Read 4217 times)

So, how do tests on any of the sciences really work then if you can't mention things like diseases or death?

"In Biology we perform surgery for no reason."
"In Chemistry we make medicines from chemicals to do nothing."

Fine, perhaps we won't do Biology tests on disease and death then, we'll do it on other things, like life.
Oh, it's a shame we can't mention love. Clearly organisms don't reproduce.

You can't even explain the differences between organisms, because you would either need to say that they were created like that, but that's offensive to Atheists at it's about Creationism, or you'd have to say it's due to Evolution, but that's offensive to the religious, so you can't say that.

Surely this would just limit the only thing you can even test upon to Mathematics, since absolutely everything else (as far as I can tell) can contain contents that are offensive to someone?

History has battle and slavery all the time. Offensive.
Music features different types, including Rock and Roll. Offensive.
Sciences cover evolution, disease, love and death and more. Offensive.
English can include almost everything upon that list, whether in the form of poetry, fictional or non-fictional books, learning about film, newspapers and all sorts. Offensive.

That's just a few lessons.

From what I can tell, if New York starts using these rules they are going to have a generation of children who come out of education with no real connection to reality.
And even if this is just things that can't be mentioned on tests, schools aren't going to go into detail to teach them.
Why would you teach someone about Evolution or Dinosaurs if he can't be examined upon it?

In Kentucky your not allowed to carry ice cream in your pocket.

In New Jersey, you may not slurp your soup.

Oh sh-

In New Jersey, you may not slurp your soup.

Oh sh-
You been slurping soup! Your under arrest!

I just read that in Owensboro Kentucky you may not receive brown town love... forgeted up laws these days.

It is against the law to "frown" at a police officer in the state of New Jersey

my dad is a police officer

I'm forgeted

AND THEN I LOOKED AT THE DATE AND EVERYTHING WAS FINE.

Funny, pretty much all the banned topics are what I write about.

forgeted up laws huh?

Minnesota's law says it's perfectly okay to forget an animal in front of a cop unless it's dead.

THE WORD "TEST" OFFENDS ME, AS IT MAKES ME UNCOMFORTABLE, PLEASE BAN IT

Why not?!  Because it's the FRENCH language that offends me~e!

No studying French, I'm offended by it.  No eating Baguettes either!  They look like over-sized carrots!

By the time New York realizes what they've done, the whole US will be a group of crazy, mute, lunatics.
